ECA Part 2

Good god! This bloody course doesn't get any easier :(
This ECA has 3 parts and a study to do!!!
The first part on Alzheimers which contained 5 questions was not too bad, however part 2 regarding Schizophrenia has a really vague question and my head hurts :( ;)

TMA04

I have read half the material for this assignment because I am taking it a question at a time i.e. I read the material for question/essay 1 and try to answer it before I move on to the next essay whilst the information is still fresh in my mind (sort of). Anyway, I have had very little sleep last night as I have come down with a bug headcold/flu (hope its not swine flu). With this going on I am having difficulty in concentrating and starting the first essay :(

TMA03

This was one bitch of an assignment, I was certain I was gonna fail it. I didn't, I scored 52% which was fine as I feared I was gonna fail.

Book 4

Started reading book 4 yesterday, which was hard going as it is all about neurons, action potentials etc, but very in-depth.
Learnt a new word yesterday - Quiescent: "in a state or period of inactivity"
Read more today and it really is hard going, at times my brain becomes quite Quiescent ;)

TMA02 submitted today

This tma has been a huge ball ache and I am really glad to see the back of it.

TMA02 Stats woes

Good god, i fucking hate stats.
I have asked for help from the OU forum, which has 2 very unhelpful tutor regulars who wont offer any help whatsoever, but then again, i am not a woman; i am not writing about chocolate or what my fucking cat brought into the house today. Grrrrrrrr
I am well pissed off.

TMA01 result

I received my result for this assignment and although it is my lowest score yet, i still passed.
On reflection (and tutors comments) i can see the flaws in my assignment, however this course is the hardest yet, so I should just be positive that I passed the assignment.

TMA01 submitted

Submitted the first assignment for SD226 today, glad to see the back of it as it was a huge ball-ache. Started reading book 3 today, chapter 1 was boring as shite, it was basic cell biology and it was a relief to finish it and start chapter 2 Studying the brain: techniques & technology which started off ok, but just became very repetitious.
I looked over the next assignment which looks a bigger ball-ache than the first and it's just another 'fucking hell' moment


Anyway, back to reading



BTW, I found out last week that I passed DZX222 with a decent pass which considering the shambles that was the course I am relatively pleased with.

SD226 Biological psychology

I received my first set of books for this course a couple of weeks ago and my first reaction was Oh my god!
However, I am really enjoying the course despite it being really difficult to digest the material.
One good thing is that my course only starts 7th Feb so I have had a couple of weeks to get ahead :)
So far, my thoughts are that it is hard but very interesting and enjoyable.
